Van a drifter comes to a city being overtaken by Lucky and his group of bandits. The locals are hiding in a mall from the bandits. They seek his help against the bandits. Finally Lucky attacks mall with his armor. Van then defeats Lucky and saves all the people in the mall. A girl named Wendy confronts Lucky on the whereabouts of her brother. He tells her that the Clawed Man took him away with him. Van attacks Lucky and asks him where the Clawed Man is hiding at. Lucky has no clue only that they left about a week ago. The next day Van and Wendy start their journey in search of the Clawed Man and Wendy's brother.
